About Tess
Having retired from full time teaching, I now focus on writing (have written a novel and a literary memoir, and many short stories) and I am a storyteller at festivals, special events, in care homes and in schools. I tutor privately and I am very flexible and adaptable, creating bespoke lessons according to need.

Depending on age, lesson lengths can vary from half an hour for lower primary, to an hour for GCSE and A Level students. I have been teaching for 30 years, my main subject being English, but I can also teach Media and Film Studies, and Theatre Studies.
