About Marguerite
I have an MA in English Composition and Rhetoric with a minor in Technical Communications. I also have business writing experience. I have taught Composition, Technical Writing, Business Development, and Literature for nearly 20 years. I was a writing center director for several years, which included teaching and training tutors, as well as conducting writing workshops. In addition, I have worked as a textbook, dissertation, and creative writing editor for over 10 years.

As all of my teaching experience has been at the university level, my students are made up of traditional college students who are right out of high school, as well as adult students returning to school. I teach in online, hybrid, and on-ground environments. What I love about teaching is the opportunity to learn from and work with students from all over the world. Prior to entering higher education in the early 90s, I worked in business and in the legal field, so my writing experience varies from argumentation, research, academic, business, and technical disciplines.
