About Leanna
Hi! I'm Leanna. I'm married with a three-year-old little boy. While I haven’t worked as a tutor in the past, I have experience helping multiple younger siblings and cousins. My primary profession is in healthcare, where I’ve worked in a neurology office and infusion suite for nearly eight years—though I’ve been part-time since my son was born. I chose healthcare 12 years ago because I love helping people, and I’d be grateful for the opportunity to help you (although in a different way) also.

I'm going to be honest. I was not a fan of school. At all. But there was one subject I loved and was good at, and that was English. I started writing my own stories and poems when I was 7 and *humble brag* have always been the best speller I know. The first time I won an award in English was in 6th grade for a short story I wrote against the rest of my grade. I won another award in 10th grade for an article in a competition against the entire school. Then once more senior year for a persuasive article, again against the rest of the school. Anything involving English has always been fun for me, and I'd love to help you master the only subject I've ever been great at :)
