About Rachel
I did a very intense technical foundation at the Royal Drawing school. This really enhanced my painting, drawing and art history knowledge. I am now studying sculpture at Glasgow school of art which has taught me a lot about construction and how to expand ones creativity in a self lead manner.

I believe in aiding creativity by starting with restrictions, e.g limited subject matter or mediums, then expanding outwards. I also think it’s essential to have a knowledge of past and contemporary art along side your art practise to contextualise the work you produce. Once both context and free creativity are in balance you can start creating inspired work!
