About Alima
I am a current A-Level student hoping to share the knowledge I have gained from my A-Levels and GCSEs to help others the same way my teachers helped me. I aspire to become an educational psychologist and tutoring others will allow me to boost my own interpersonal skills and further enhance my understanding of the best way to further improve educational systems. In personal life I am a huge fan of reading, with some of my favourite books being: The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins), The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde) and Memphis (Tara Stringfellow). Alongside reading I also enjoy writing my own short stories for fun.

My experience as a Reading buddy to younger students and my volunteer role at my local Girlguides make me adaptable to working with children of all ages. I believe in encouraging imagination and creativity to help with gaining those extra marks in GCSE and A-Level English to get those higher grades. I hope to apply the tips and tricks that I have learned with my first-hand experience and I aim to promote analytical skills and knowledge through in-depth exam practice and example essays that will enhance comprehension of what each exam board is looking for in order to obtain high marks.
