About Victor
Hey! I’m Victor and I’m a Year 13 student at Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle. French is my first language and I’ve taught it since the age of 10. I just got Highest Honours with Jury’s Congratulations on my French baccalaureate (19 written and 18 oral).
I spent the beginning of year 12 in an English school, so I have first hand insight on what the A Level curriculum demands.
Having lived in Geneva and then Singapore, and helped friends from various international schools with French for all sorts of different curricula (GCSE/IB/AP), I’m familiar with, comfortable teaching for those curricula too.
I myself have had private tutors for other subjects, so I understand what a student wants and what would actually help. Most of all it has led me to believe and understand that patience is the most important trait a tutor must have.
Being of similar age to my students has helped me relate to them, and understand what would make learning the language fun and interesting and therefore teach it in a way that school cannot.
