I am originally from Bulgaria, currently 19 years old, Year 13 A Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths student and am living on my own. I want to study Medicine in the future and am taking a gap year.

I mostly emphasise on understanding of the concept, rather than simple memorization. While going along the Year 12 Biology material in college, the student I will be teaching will probably have trouble understanding the topic, imagining the processes and structures and will most likely have many questions. This is where I will be useful.
Science subject are not easy to pass by memorizing so understanding how everything works and is connected, as well as practicing answering past paper questions is key to a better performance. I make sure my student will remember what I have taught them by asking them questions, making notes and drawing pictures, as well as briefly revisiting the information in consequent sessions.
