I am currently working as a specialist extended scope musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the NHS. Trained to an Masters in Science (MSc) level, working towards Musculoskeletal association of chartered physiotherapists) MACP membership.
My teaching method is based on fact relating and understanding, thinking outside the box and problem solving by practice. During 2 years of studying Biology to pass the exam to get into university I created my own strategy to learn fast and include vision memory, listening and motor skills, that allowed me to score 94/100 % at the exam.
I like to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible, with loads of questions, quizzes and small games. Also, I think independent learning is important too, so the lesson would also include discussions on the topic and the student can ask questions from his own research on the topic.
My teaching method is based on how the student learns best. My biggest aim as a tutor is to encourage critical thinking and practice exam strategy. My most popular teaching method has been to take a topic, and explain the topic by drawing pictures and diagrams while explaining, and then asking the student to try and explain it to me.
I am a third year graduate medical student at St. George's University of London, offering lessons in Biology at all levels from KS3 to A level. Your first session will involve having a thorough discussion on your current situation and your aspirations. I will work with you to highlight any particular concerns and areas for development, and agree on an overall agenda for our sessions.
Hello! I am a 6th year medical student from the first faculty of medicine, in Prague and I have completed an BSc in biomedical sciences and an MSc in Pharmacology at Queen Mary and King's College of London, respectively. I have many core skills including excellent communication and listening skills attained from various experiences including differing roles in the NHS while studying.
I involve the learner through engaging with their interests and at a level and pace that they are comfortable with. I believe that every learner is an individual and my learning styles will be responsive to each student to ensure that they are actively involved throughout.
I believe in one to one interaction and I don't rush into finishing the work, unless it has been understood well.I focus on understanding the clearing the basics and understanding the concepts rather than rote learning and cramming.
I am passionate about Science and Chemistry in particular, it is a subject which you will never fully understand as we are continually learning and discovering about it - which is great! Lessons will be engaging, tailored to you and as interactive as possible.
My teaching methods are based on my experiences.
I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate going into Medicine and I offer Biology classes to all levels and Chemistry classes up to A levels and equivalent. I am a very patient tutor, and I will only succeed when you succeed as well. During our first classes, we will start by reviewing the different topics, in order to assess your strengths and weaknesses.
I teach with technology where I can, showing diagrams and models to better understand perspective and detail where possible. I am also able to teach with whiteboards or with just textbooks being able to explain and help understand the details.
I have always been passionate about the world around me and the subjects which I have studied, with the sciences having especially peaked my interest. Public exams for most students are a daunting prospect.
I approach each topic or concept differently. Some topics need to taught with diagrams and some topics can be taught just by bullet points. Also, everyone works differently. Some students like mind maps, some don't. Once I know which concepts are difficult for you and which method of learning suits you the best, then I will make sure that you have fully grasped the concept as soon as possible.
I believe you'll never learn much on a subject that doesn't interest you. As I'm fascinated by biological processes, my main aim is to make the topic as interesting for you as it is to me, and tailor lessons to your individual needs depending on the specific topics you'd like to work on.
My teaching method is interactive and engaging (can be fun too), alongside the pupil being able to ask as many questions as possible. I am looking to give lessons to all ages up to IB, however, before each lesson, I will need to be provided with what topic the pupil would like to cover, preferably with a one day allowance to prepare the correct material.
I have graduated with BSc Biomedical Science degree and have been teaching sciences for over 10 years now. My methodical approach to private tuition became popular among students in West London area.
I am a science tutor and will give lessons up to A level standard and base my teaching on each individual student. It is important that I tailor my lessons to the method that will be most rewarding to each student.
I am a former UCL student, and current Master's student at UEL, studying psychology. I am able to give lessons in all Sciences up to GSCE level, and then Chemistry and Biology lessons up to undergraduate level. Each lesson is tailored to the individuals learning style. I believe the best learning is interactive and creative, and it is this which will yield the highest exam grades.
My teaching methods are fairly free form; by this I mean that there will be a structure to the lessons, however room will be allocated to address any questions that arise during the teaching. This ensures that the Student not only learns the content but also addresses any interest they may have.
I have various teaching methods ranging from textbook to interactive sessions which cater the students needs. I assess the students strengths and weaknesses and focus on the latter. Additionally i believe that learning should be fun therefore I vary the methods of teaching to ensure the student is learning and having fun simultaneously, to ensure the lesson is productive.
Hello, I am a London based medical doctor with an immense passion for teaching the sciences and maths at GCSE, A Level and IB. My specialty subject is Biology, where I particularly excel and have taught the most hours. My Story I was born and raised in Leeds (UK) and attended Bradford Grammar School (2005 to 2010), where I completed my GCSE and A Levels in the sciences and mathematics.
I am looking to teach GCSE/ A level students, and can also offer advice and support on getting into medical school, as well as being successful whilst there. I am happy to base teaching on what is important or particularly challenging to the student, and have a wide range of resources from my previous learning which I can use to help.
As a tutor I am caring and motivating and also want to see my tutees improve and understand new concepts which they have not previously. I also want to help learners apply their knowledge to tackle practical problems in the form of questions.
My Methodes based on the explanation of general issues slowly coming to the complicated and detailed ones so all can get the bigger pictures of the course with better understanding way with clarification of the most complicated terms in biology ; in French language I'm going to teach you what we call it "Le francais simple" as u can get your first steps in learning French and better Motivation
My teaching method is to explain in such a way that the students understand what's being taught and not just learn, because memorising knowledge can eventually be forgotten, whereas what you understood is what's going to be with you for lifetime.
My teaching method is to first establish what the student struggles with and focus efforts on building their knowledge and confidence around that topic. I would do this by going through many different sources and gathering together the information to explain the topic in a logical and simple way, then test their knowledge recall using questions I've prepared.
My teaching method is usually exam related where in the initial classes I try to clear any subject related doubts that the student present themselves with after which I would focus on questions with frequent Mock examinations to improve the students understanding.
My methodology depends on the needs and preferences of the student. Typically, I follow the recommended textbook for the student's subject specification and exam board and base my lessons on this. I take time to prepare presentations and aid students in making concise notes. Furthermore, I always test student's understanding and frequently provide revision material and exam questions.
