About Teresa
I have prided myself in having positive relationship with my students, my principals and assistant principals, my teaching staff, and my students. I have been told several times that people feel comfortable coming to me for guidance, for feedback concerning their job performance, and for my opinions. People respect my feedback whether it be positive or negative. They say even when my feedback has to address a negative or stressful situation that I don't belittle, but guide them in a way that is encouraging.

I taught English Language Arts for 17 years at the Elementary & Junior High Level - I always had a 90% or higher passing rate on State Mandated Tests for my students. I have mentored students, teachers, Assistant Principals, Principals, and new Superintendents. My teaching specialty is English Language Arts. My lessons would be tailored to the needs of my students as all students learn differently. Typical lessons would consist of a direct teach, a guided teach, and then an individual lesson for the student to apply their knowledge and receive specific, targeted feedback.
