About Quinley
"Adult learners often seek a structured path to play the music they love. My work focuses on building confidence for self-taught players and those returning to the keys. With a BMus in Vocal Performance and a minor in Piano, I bridge the gap between singing and playing. I accompany my own vocal students, which naturally led me to help them master chord voicing and hand independence.
Having coached 210 students throughout my career, I understand how to simplify complex pedaling technique or sight playing. My approach is to ensure you feel supported while you explore pop, contemporary, or grade exam preparation. I keep the process steady and focused on your personal progress."

"First sessions involve a quiet assessment of your current technical skills and your goals for the keyboard. We spend time on hand independence to ensure your rhythm stays consistent while you play. My 13 years of experience means I can quickly spot where your chord voicing needs refinement.
ABRSM and Trinity exam candidates receive a structured syllabus to track their progress. You receive free access to my annotated practice notes after every lesson. These notes summarize the technical details we covered to keep your home practice organized.
I emphasize a calm process where we break down pop or classical pieces into small segments. You will find that regular practice becomes a manageable part of your daily routine."
