About Jasmine
Intermediate learners often come to me when they want to bridge the gap between hobbyist playing and true performance. Having spent 13 years working as a performer, I understand the challenges of the instrument intimately. I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Those years of professional practice in NYC and on tour shaped my current teaching philosophy. I focus on what actually works when you are under pressure.
My personal narrative is built around solid technique and confidence. I enjoy turning complex concepts into manageable steps for my students. I am ready to help you reach your next level.

When we sit down at the keys, I track your progress with immediate, specific feedback on your dynamics and expression. You might be working through a difficult passage of classical repertoire, and I will show you how to apply precise pedalling technique to smooth out the transitions.
During these sessions, I integrate ear training and sight playing into our work to build your musicianship alongside your ability to handle chord voicing. Because I have 13 years of experience in the industry, I know how to teach you effective memorization techniques that hold up under the lights. Every class includes weekly practice modules assigned to keep your scales and arpeggios sharp throughout the week. My aim is to make our time together feel like a collaborative, stress-free rehearsal space for your development.
