About Mitch
Guitar became my primary focus 13 years ago because I wanted to understand how to build a song from the ground up. I have taught 265 students who arrived with various goals ranging from learning basic fingerpicking to mastering complex electric technique.
My personal narrative centers on creating music from day one, which helps me guide learners through the nuances of blues progressions or lead guitar. Maintenance and tuning often intimidate beginners, so I make sure those technical aspects feel manageable for everyone I meet.
We also work on ear training and preparing for specific grade exams to ensure your foundational knowledge stays solid. I enjoy helping people develop their own sound while keeping the process chilled and entirely student-led. Watching someone find their rhythm on the fretboard is exactly why I continue to teach this craft.

Honestly, I admit that I cannot build a proper lesson plan without first understanding your natural habits. I start by running a diagnostic skills check to see how you currently handle the instrument before we move forward. This allows me to see where your technique flourishes and where we might need to adjust your approach to improve your results. Many students find that this initial assessment saves hours of frustration later on, especially when dealing with tricky lead parts or rhythm patterns.
I take pride in providing a positive environment where you can freely explore your musical interests without feeling pressured or rushed. We will build your plan together to ensure the material remains relevant to your goals and musical tastes. You receive a 10.0 level of dedication during our time together. We will make this work.
