About Charmion
The smell of old wood and the hum of an amplifier define my history with the guitar. After 13 years of playing professionally, I now share those lessons with 433 students ranging from self-taught players to busy working professionals. I hold a BFA Music Performance from East Tennessee State University and have spent years traversing the American South to play at various bluegrass festivals. It feels natural to explain complex barre chords or blues progressions in a way that makes sense during a casual conversation.
I enjoy breaking down the mechanics of electric technique for those who want to understand their instrument on a deeper level. You might find that songwriting becomes more accessible when you have a solid grasp of modes and scales. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and discuss your musical path. My approach keeps things steady while we work through the details.
