About David
I am a retired sales and management professional of over 40 years in the business. I also trained all of my team and the teams of other branches for the companies who I worked for over the years and developed the individuals to become managers in sales business accordingly. I have so much experience to share with anyone who is truly willing to learn the craft, because that is what it is...a craft.
I was lucky to be employed by a company who believed in the importance of structured training for all of their organisation and it paid massive dividends, from top to bottom and including admin and works. Don't forget, we have internal and external customers!
I am not an academic, I practice what I preach. It works for any trade and marketplace as it's about understanding the NEED, AUTHORITIES, BUYING MOTIVES AND TIME SCALES and once we understand these properly, we are able to sell to the customer by way the FEATURES and RELEVANT BENEFITS. And that everyone is what selling is all about.

I believed that I was a great salesman....until had professional sales instruction, something that the majority of organisations don't buy into. A massive mistake.
Structured sales training is vital for both parties and the cost is small compared to the results, but if one thinks that by having one super-charged lesson will do the trick...don't waste your money on me or anyone. However, if you want to know what selling is all about, then I am your man. I do what it says on the tin.
I don't just teach you to talk the talk, I show you how to walk the walk.
I have also taken part in "one-day" training courses for less than £100....just to see what's out there, don't waste your money on those either. It's like seeing a stand-up comedian who delivers 100 one-liners. Yes, you laugh, but if you remember two gags, you're lucky. I demonstrate in a way where you retain lots of what I explain.....but it's simply a beginning and like learning to play golf, the better you get.
