My fingers still remember the tension of learning the first barre chords on an acoustic guitar. Music requires that specific physical connection to the instrument. My personal narrative is defined by my BM degree from Concordia and a lifelong dedication to the craft. I specialize in teaching kids and teens how to find their groove through improvisation and soloing.
Ear training and reading tabs are essential parts of my process. I am a musician who understands the discipline required to progress. My teaching is direct and focused on the work.
