About Gopakumar
I've 20+ years of academic experience from prestigious management institutes across India which include the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The subjects handled by me are Managerial Economics, Research Methodology, Macroeconomics, Business Environment, International Financial Management, International Business, Corporate Governance, and Transport Economics and Optimization. My research interests include Macroeconomics, International Finance, and Economics of Development. The application-oriented teaching methodology adopted by me has helped students to understand the subject for a lifetime. The teaching will be a mixture of textbook theories and its practical applications in the real world. Using a lot of newspaper and magazine articles like Financial Times and Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Business Week, etc. I strongly believe in a student-centric teaching approach. My students are now working with various organizations in good positions across the world, including well-known multinational companies. The majority of them scored good marks in the subjects I taught them.

For me I came from a non commerce background with zero idea on what economics is and how it affects our lives. Gopakumar sir's simplest way of explaining with real time examples helped me to have a better understanding on complex subjects.He made me enthusiastic to read and understand economic related news. He is a great orator and have a deep understanding on many subjects. You can defenitely learn lot of things from him.
