About Kara
Language connects us. I teach because I love the mechanics of speech.
After earning my Artist Diploma in Music Performance at Berklee College of Music, I realized the same discipline applies to mastering French. I have guided 153 students through cultural context, pronunciation, idioms and expressions, everyday phrases for beginners, business French, role play and dialogue practice, travel French, liaison and nasal sounds, plus accent and intonation. These 5 years have been rewarding. I truly enjoy seeing people gain confidence in their voice

Do you want to see exactly where you stand before we start? I conduct a diagnostic level test before we build the plan to ensure we hit your targets efficiently. My pedagogical framework is rooted in the rigor of my 10.0 rated training from Berklee. We focus heavily on authentic pronunciation and real world dialogue.
I emphasize feedback that is immediate and clear. My background in performance helps me hear the small errors that others miss. I personally value the moment a student finally masters a difficult liaison. It is a pleasure to watch that development unfold.
