About Dani
As I have been teaching for over 2 years, I have had the opportunity to teach all ages from babies, absolute beginners (both young and adults), 500m stroke classes and everywhere in between.
In New Zealand, my classes were always popular and fully booked (with waiting lists).
My class sizes ranged from 4-6 (on average), but I have also taught up to 15 students (at a school's swimming week) and up to 20 babies/ adults in my infant classes.
My private lessons were a hit with my students also, due to my patience and caring nature. I have had students start lessons with me being afraid of the water, yet before long they were swimming competitively.

My name is Dani.
I am a warm and caring person which reflects my teaching as I like to build a strong rapport with my students. However, I also know when to become more strict in order for them to get the most out of the class.
I pride myself in providing my students with a teaching style that is easy to follow whilst being highly effective.
As no two students are identical, I adjust my approach to suit the needs of that student.
I tend to have different focus points each lesson (which the student is made aware of) to ensure the lessons do not become too repetitive. I also give "things to work on..." at the end of the class based on their progress. I advise the parents to then work on these (at home, in the bath etc) in between classes to aid in their learning.
As I am a hands on/ practical learner, this also shows through in my teaching as I prefer to teach by 'doing or showing' instead of only explaining.
