About Patricia
I have 30 plus years of teaching younger students. I love to help students understand phonemic awareness and work towards fluent reading. It is amazing what a student can learn and apply when given a systematic system to follow. I have LETRS training in the Science of Reading approach to learning reading. ALL students can learn to read, but it takes a system that makes sense to accomplish this goal. I look forward to creating those "ah-ha" moments in a student's education!

My lessons are for the beginning English learner focusing on phonetic awareness, phonics, beginning grammar, and sentence formation.
I teach with online resources with hands-on movements to help students remember their phonemes and blending techniques. Lessons are geared toward student's interests.
