About Vanessa
My name is Vanessa. I have a deep passion for working with children ages 4 to 12, a stage of life where growth, curiosity, and learning flourish. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a child develop new skills, gain confidence, and make progress—both academically and personally. My goal is to support each child in reaching their full potential by creating a nurturing environment that encourages success, builds self-esteem, and lays the foundation for a bright future. Every small step forward is a reminder of why I love what I do. I currently work in an elementary school as a Behavior Technician, supporting students with a range of needs through structured guidance and care. With strong communication skills and a compassionate approach, I focus on creating personalized plans that are easy to follow and effective for both students and educators. I believe that life skills are the foundation for academic success, and my approach combines both—helping students build confidence, independence, and the tools they need to thrive in and out of the classroom.

Using a personalized approach, my priority is to build trusting, confident relationships with each child while integrating meaningful daily life skills into every session. I focus on engagement, participation, and open communication to assess their progress and adjust strategies as needed.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing the individual schedule, followed by guided instruction, interactive questions, and thoughtful conversations. I stay current with educational technology, incorporating games and digital tools to make learning both fun and effective.
All of my lessons are tailored to each child's unique strengths, needs, and learning style. My ultimate goal is to provide consistent support, helping every child succeed, gain independence, and strive for the stars.
I have extensive experience working with students diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioural challenges, and I take pride in creating a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment for all.
