About Doris
I have spent 20 years refining the art of the human voice. This journey began in Mexico City and found a home in Australia 14 years ago. My BMus Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and Licenciatura from Argentina form the base of my practice. I work with 400 students including kids, adults, and self-taught players seeking structure. My method relies on the belief that singing is a bridge between cultures. I often joke that I am more comfortable singing in Spanish than I am speaking about technical theory. Dealing with tone, resonance, and breathing control takes patience and time. You will find that I am a friendly guide who values vocal health and care above all else. I promise to keep our sessions relaxed and focused on your individual growth.

Singers leave their first session with a clear understanding of how air supports every sound. Imagine your voice resonating fully within your chest as you hit a perfect high note. My 20 years of experience allows me to guide you through warm up exercises and rhythm training. We can explore belting technique or simple diction and articulation depending on your goals.
