Konnichiwa ! I’m a Japanese language tutor with 14 years of teaching experience. Whether you’re preparing for the JLPT, learning Japanese for travel, work, or simply as a hobby, I can help you achieve your goals. My lessons are tailored to each student’s level and learning style, focusing on practical communication while building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary. Beginners are always welcome, and I’ll guide you step by step in a friendly and supportive environment.

Sensei is very patient when it comes to teaching students. If you have a problem understanding, she is just a text away. Teaching materials are not only textbooks, she also includes reading Japanese articles and news online. The explanations are very easy to understand, Sensei often uses examples that we can relate to and explain. She also encourages students to speak even if they are not confident, and she will do her best to help them feel comfortable and practise the language with her.
Ms. Wong is an exceptional Mandarin tutor! Her clear and engaging teaching style makes learning enjoyable and effective. Ellie-sensei is very perceptive during the session and is able to quickly cater to the student’s strengths and provide immediate feedback on how they should improve on their weaknesses. She is also a very natural conversationalist and is able to blend teaching with practical conversational tips as well. Very friendly and welcoming, perfect for beginner learners of the language.
