About Danielle
I’m a piano tutor with 9 years of experience teaching students of different ages and goals. I hold a Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA or equivalent), and I’m passionate about helping students grow in both technique and creativity. Whether you’re preparing for ABRSM, Rockschool, or university-level piano exams, I guide you step by step with clear instruction and thoughtful feedback. I believe every student has a unique musical voice, and my role is to help unlock it with patience and encouragement. My lessons focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, finger control, and expressive playing. At the same time, I bring in music theory, ear training, and sight-reading to build a complete understanding of the instrument. I enjoy blending classical training with modern styles, so learning stays inspiring and fun. Mistakes are never judged—I see them as stepping stones toward progress. Watching students gain confidence and find their own musical style is what motivates me most. I look forward to helping you explore your potential and enjoy the true joy of playing the piano.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students play the piano with confidence, accuracy, and expression. I start with strong keyboard technique, including hand posture, finger strength, and smooth movement across the keys. Ear training is part of every lesson, helping students recognize notes, chords, and melodies without always relying on sheet music.
I also teach music theory in a simple and practical way, showing how it connects to real songs and playing styles. Performance skills are built through small recitals, practice concerts, and playing in front of family or friends to boost confidence. For fast learners or naturally talented children, I offer challenging pieces, improvisation tasks, and deeper musical expression to help them grow further.
For adults who learn for passion or relaxation, I create a calm and enjoyable space where progress is steady and stress-free. Each lesson is customized to match the student’s goals, learning speed, and musical taste. I cover classical, modern, and film music, so students can explore different styles.
Mistakes are treated as learning tools, not failures, and I always give gentle guidance and support. My goal is to make music both disciplined and enjoyable. Step by step, I help students build skill, creativity, and a lifelong love for the piano.
