About Olivia
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Music. I have successfully taught students from beginners to advanced musicians, helping them refine their technique, expand their musical knowledge, and achieve success in examinations, performances, auditions, and personal musical goals.
My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, encouragement, and personalized learning. I believe every student has unique musical potential, so I adapt each lesson to suit individual strengths, aspirations, and learning preferences, creating a motivating environment where confidence, creativity, and technical excellence flourish together.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy performing acoustic and electric guitar across multiple musical genres, composing original music, collaborating with fellow musicians, attending live concerts and workshops, and exploring innovative music education techniques. These experiences allow me to bring practical performance insights, creative inspiration, and modern teaching approaches into every lesson, making guitar learning both enjoyable and deeply rewarding.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students of all ages and experience levels develop outstanding musical skills through engaging, structured, and personalized instruction. Whether you are learning guitar for the first time, preparing for graded examinations, live performances, auditions, or simply playing for personal enjoyment, every lesson is tailored to your learning pace, musical interests, and long-term goals.
I teach acoustic and electric guitar techniques, including chord progressions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle playing, scales, improvisation, music theory, rhythm, ear training, sight-reading, and expressive performance. Lessons combine technical exercises, repertoire development, practical performance coaching, and creative musical activities to strengthen confidence, precision, and overall musicianship.
Every session encourages creativity, discipline, and consistent progress in a supportive learning environment. Through personalized practice plans, constructive feedback, regular performance opportunities, and goal-oriented instruction, students steadily improve their technical skills, musical interpretation, and stage confidence while enjoying every step of their musical journey.
