About Matthew
Hi I'm Matt, a full time music teacher who works in schools 3 days a week and private lessons 2 days. Once I started teaching I caught the bug and I've never looked back!
I've been playing guitar for over 15 years. I'm currently part of a Folk Ceilidh band called Mad Robin and I'm also working on a jazz band with some friends.

My biggest goal with lessons is making music accessible for you. Maybe you're a beginner, but there's a really difficult song you want to learn. We can work towards that by learning the different concepts you'll need each lesson.
I'm also really passionate about teaching how to play with others. My goal is to get my students to a point where if someone wanted them to play a song together they would know how to do it, and how to make it their own.
Structure wise I can provide 30 or 60 minute lessons.
I prefer to do the lessons at my house, but I can travel for a small added cost.
