About Jeffry
Sound design is the primary reason I spend so much time in the studio. Honestly, I find most formal music education to be far too detached from the reality of making records. I spent 6 years moving away from dry theory and towards practical projects.
My degree from the Royal Academy of Music provides the foundation for everything I teach. I help hobbyists, students, and adult learners navigate complex technical hurdles.
Working musicians and career switchers often come to me to refine their workflow. We focus on gain staging, signal flow, and professional vocal production.
I prioritise creative audio effects over standard textbook rules. You can expect me to be gear-aware and direct in our communication.
Synthesis is often the biggest hurdle for my students. I help you bridge the gap between an idea and a final, shareable track. It is really just about getting the music finished.
