About Silvia
"Teaching exists because I want you to control the sonic landscape of your own tracks. You likely struggle with getting those bedroom recordings to sound like the records you admire. I earned my BMus Songwriting degree from Leeds Conservatoire to formalise my obsession with audio.
For 6 years, I have balanced releasing my own music alongside coaching others to find their unique voice. This work demands a hands-on approach where we constantly make, listen back, and improve.
Most of the home-studio owners and teens I coach just need a direct perspective on their gear. I keep things practical so you are not bogged down by theory that does not serve your music.
Understanding synthesis and texture is the key to escaping generic sounds. It is truly rewarding to see independent artists gain the confidence to shape their own arrangements. I enjoy the process of turning a chaotic session into something cohesive."

"Sound design happens in real time during our sessions. Most tracks require only 3 strategic adjustments to move from muddy to clear.
We will focus on layering, sidechain compression, and precise reverb settings to carve out space. You will learn to use your existing gear to build textures rather than constantly buying new plug-ins.
My approach is direct and geared towards the specific needs of intermediate producers. We do not waste time on abstract concepts that do not translate to your current mix. By the end of our time together, you will have a clear path to finishing your tracks with professional-sounding results. We will build the sonic confidence required to release your work without hesitation."
