About Jade
Beginners often assume guitar playing must be painful to be effective. Working with kids, adults, and exam candidates has taught me that the opposite is true.
I am self-taught and spent 12 years gigging in Nashville and LA before turning to coaching full-time. My degree in real-world performance helps me teach scales, modes, and maintenance with ease. I have helped 490 students navigate the fretboard with confidence.
My goal is to make your practice sessions feel like a natural extension of your daily life. I keep things practical and laid-back.

Starting with a free trial session lets me assess your starting level without any pressure. I usually find that new players struggle more with simple mechanics than with complex theory. We focus on tuning, maintenance, and basic electric technique to build a solid foundation. My background as a producer guides our work on songwriting and blues progressions.
I treat the guitar as a tool for capturing your own musical voice. Learning to play what you actually listen to makes the process much faster. I ensure our time together stays grounded in the music you enjoy most.
My instruction follows your progress rather than a rigid, outdated syllabus. You are welcome to reach out when you feel ready to start.
