About Hussana
My experience is extensive. Having taught in lower and upper-grade students, including Adult Continuing Education Programs. Preparing the adult learners for GED testing, is more than teaching reading, writing and math skills. It is about building confidence and encouragement.
Of course my lower grades students did well in math but the adult learners, most took the GED and passed

My son's father said to him, " if you can read, you can do math." He then went on to explain why. And this is what he said, "Reading, is left to interpretation, but 1 +1 is 2 any where in the world you may go". This may sound strange but it took the fear of math away.
As a math teacher Elementary Mathematics, Pre-GED and Basic Algebra, I have found that once the young student or the adult learner, understands the importance of number relationships and the importance of knowing the multiplication tables, half of their problem is solves. And sometimes math even becomes fun.
