Like everything else, everyone has weaknesses and strengths in art too. First I tend to find your strengths and make it even better, to prove to you how capable you are as an artist. We can start using other mediums and introduce techniques to help your progress skyrocket. As we hit a plateau, we can work on your interests, specialising in a certain medium, technique, etc. Eventually, you'll be ready to take in projects from people who would want you to draw something for them :)))
I was an A* GCSE Art student with great passion and love towards this magical subject. Many believe people are born with artistic talent - some possess this, others don't. I am a living counterexample to that myth. I gradually taught myself techniques which I figured through mistakes and experience, and although I had to drop Art as a subject academically when transitioning to A-Levels, I began privately tutoring Art at home. This was 5 years ago.
Higher level students will be charged accordingly. Get in contact with me for more information - we can negotiate. It will be great if you can come as a group - a touch of competition makes it more fun and improves learning speeds.

Kavinthan is a very driven and talented individual. We have worked together in teaching karate to lower ranks at our karate club. This meant running lessons for groups of up to 50 students. Kavinthan was always passionate and focused on ensuring his students achieved their maximum potential. He encourages and motivates his students to strive towards success.
Having known him for over 10 years I am confident he will always put 100% into anything he does and by having him as your tutor you are in very safe hands.
He is very encouraging and is someone I can be upfront and straight forward to. Normally I wouldn’t ask questions to my teacher and find the answer myself so my teacher doesn’t think I’m low in ability but with him I can be upfront and would feel comfortable to ask help and he would spend time and help no matter how long it takes until I finally understand. He would always tell me that if I don’t understand then tell him that I don’t understand so he can explain then and I don’t let him go on and make myself even more confused. He always explains in a way that he knows that would make us understand easily judging by the way he knows we think. He never discourages or gives up on me when I don’t understand something no matter how long or difficult it is for me. He is a really creative kind of person that would make us think or imagine in different ways and is a really skilful artist that expresses feelings or thoughts in many ways through art.
Very knowledgeable and interesting teacher. I really aced my maths thanks to him! Thank you.
I have previously been a student of Kavinthan for Art and Maths, I think Kavinthan is a trustworthy tutor as he is very experienced and has helped me through topics in the national curriculum which I did not understand at school. He has also made me feel comfortable in asking questions.
My children are learning maths and art and they are very happy with his teaching. They definitely have good progress in school and I myself am very happy.
Kavinthan is an extremely patient, determined and humble individual. He puts his all into getting people to understand problems and how to solve them in the most efficient ways. Kavinthan has this way of noticing how your brain functions when solving problems and teaches you in a way that is tailored to you. He doesn't give up until you've mastered the material you're studying. I'm proof of his excellence as a huge part of my success in my A-levels and GCSE's can be dedicated to Kavinthan. Not only does he excel in teaching his pairs but also to children of all ages through to sixth form. Definitely worth it!
Kavinthan is a rare mix; he picks up complex ideas quickly and explains them well in simple terms.
He’s a great maths and art teacher who takes his time to explain his work to his students step by step. He taught me maths and art and from that I have improved massively in both of these subjects. I would recommend a teacher like this.
Kavinthan is my cousin and he had been teaching me for a year. I personally think he’s a great teacher despite the fact that he is my cousin. He explains well and will be worth your money and time. He can get mad and punish you if you don’t do your homework constantly however, he can be really funny in class.
