About Eileen
"Teaching provides a bridge between different cultures during the often stressful process of relocation. I remember sitting in a quiet office in Madrid helping a client navigate their first visa interview in Spanish. My MA Applied Linguistics and CELTA form the bedrock of how I approach language acquisition. I have supported 300 students across 13 years of teaching.
My primary focus includes Year 11 and 12 students taking LOTE and international newcomers. I thrive when simplifying complex grammar for kids. Beginners benefit from my methodical approach. I assist with both Latin American and Castilian variants.
Most of my work involves helping families settle in. It is simple work."
