About Margot
Music led me to the study of language. My training at the Royal Academy of Music and my MA in Hispanic Studies define my approach. I specialise in the nuances of idioms and expressions while focusing on listening practice and conversational fluency for adult learners.
Exam preparation for DELF or DALF remains a core focus of my practice. I also assist with reading comprehension and travel French for those heading abroad. Cultural context matters.
Mastering accent and intonation is vital, as is careful attention to liaison and nasal sounds through role play and dialogue practice. It is quite rewarding to see students find their voice in a new tongue.
