About Grant
I am a Learning Support Assistant at a College and I am beginning my teacher training part-time in September. I have played drums for over ten years and currently have spaces available for new students. You’re never too old or young to try learning something new, so why not give Drums a go!

1st lesson is free! In the first lesson, we will talk about what your ambitions are for drumming and how I can help you to achieve your goals. If you are a beginner, you will be able to play a basic drum beat by the end of the lesson. I have an acoustic drum kit and an electronic drum kit, you can use whichever you prefer.
I adapt each of my lessons to the ambitions of my students and their music taste. I can cater to a whole range of styles, from pop, rock, punk, soul, R&B to disco, funk, hip hop, metal and jazz. I am very happy to teach Rockschool grades on drums and have taken the Grade 8 exam myself.
After the 1st half hour lesson which is free, half hour lessons will be £15 and hour lessons are £25. Lessons are based at my house in Farlington, Portsmouth. Alternatively, I can travel to you if you have your own drum kit. However, you must live in Portsmouth or the surrounding area (Waterlooville, Havant, Fareham).
