About Ailish
I have just graduated from my master's degree in Law, after completing my bachelor's degree in English and French a year previously.
I am very aware of how schools and exams operate, as I am 23 years old and it was not so long ago that I was a secondary student myself.
I worked as an English language assistant in France for a year where I gained most of my educational and tutoring skills. I worked both one-on-one with struggling students who needed a bit of extra help, and with larger groups.
I have knowledge of the UK examination system. My skills would be particularly useful for helping with the literature side of English exams and essays. I am a proficient essay writer myself and my knowledge and skills would be transferable to help with coursework and in-exam essay writing.

My approach is student-based. This means that I will tailor each lesson to specific students, depending on what it is they need the most help with.
The length of the typical lesson would be an hour- however, I can extend or shorten this.
I have one year experience of 1 on 1 tutoring in English as a foreign language, and one year experience working as an English language assistant in a secondary school. My experience is recent and therefore relevant to current school systems.
My experience equips me best for GCSE and A Level students, however I have experience tutoring primary-level children too.
