About Ellen
Hi I'm Ellen! I am 23, and have spent the last 5 years living in London completing my BA in German and History, and my MSc in Humanitarianism, Aid and Development. Above all, I really love learning, and would love to be able to share some of my knowledge and experience through tutoring! During my degrees, I lived in Austria for a year, completed my yoga teacher training, and worked as a history tour guide and English language assistant, as well as informally tutoring German A Level students. I have a wide range of life and professional experience, and am able to quickly adjust to new challenges. I view tutoring and teaching as a reciprocal act - I have just as much to learn from you, as you do from me, and look forward to helping you to achieve your goals.

Hello! I maintain a relaxed and approachable environment when tutoring, tailoring lessons to whatever needs the student has! As someone who often struggled with dogmatic teaching at school and university, I understand how a personable and varied approach makes learning not only easier, but much more fun. My lessons are for GCSE and A Level students primarily, but I am more than happy to take on students outside of formal teaching structures, specifically those looking to improve their German. I offer the benefits of having an education at an undergrad and master's level, with experience working with school-age students in German and teaching English as a foreign language. With excellent A Level results in English Literature, Politics, German and History, as well as experience doing history tour guiding, I would love to be able to share my knowledge, helping you achieve your goals :)
