About Kit
I'm a 1st year Biology student at the University of Manchester. I've been informally tutoring friends and classmates since starting my GCSEs in 2014. During the 2021-2022 academic year I worked as a tutor at Explore Learning. I achieved 4A*s in my A Levels (including in Maths and Biology) and I have several years of experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings.

I tutor in Biology from KS2 to GCSE Level. I'm also confident in tutoring science up to KS3. Lessons are typically an hour long (but open to discussion and can be flexible). I have previously tutored in Maths and English through an agency and worked with students from 4-15. I believe in a personalised approach for each student, however I regularly use scaffolding and try and employ a Socratic method where possible. I also aim to help my students become confident learners who love learning as much as I do!
