About Moosa

Hi, I’m Moosa, a dedicated online tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident in subjects that can initially seem difficult. I currently support GCSE students in Chemistry and Physics, alongside A-level Maths students.

I am eager to tutor, with 2 years of experience teaching a range of ages.

I believe tutoring should be encouraging, clear and adapted to the individual. I enjoy breaking challenging ideas into manageable steps, helping students recognise their progress, and giving them the confidence to attempt questions independently. Whether a student needs help strengthening foundations, improving exam technique or aiming for higher grades, I provide a calm, organised and supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome.

I offer friendly, structured online tuition in GCSE Sciences and Maths as well as A-level Biology Chemistry and Maths. My lessons are usually 60 minutes and are tailored to each student’s exam board, current level, goals and learning preferences.

I begin by identifying the topics a student finds difficult, then explain the key ideas clearly using worked examples, notes or whiteboards before moving into guided practice. We regularly use exam-style questions so students can build confidence, improve technique and become familiar with how marks are awarded. I check understanding throughout, revisit misconceptions and set focused follow-up practice where helpful.

I currently support GCSE students with Chemistry and Physics, including foundational concepts, definitions, electricity and exam technique, and A-level AQA Maths students with areas such as mechanics, functions and algebra. My lessons are ideal for students who want clear explanations, a calm supportive space to ask questions, and a personalised plan to make steady progress.
