About Karly
I aspire to be the tutor that makes your kid enjoy math. I am confident that math will be your favorite subject once you can wrap your head around the concepts. I am willing to walk kids through the processes of equations in multiple different ways until we find the one that works best for your child. I will always have patience with the kids I teach because I understand what it’s like to be frustrated when not understanding. My goal is to help your children feel comfortable and confident in their work by the end of a lesson.

Hello! My name is Karly, i’m 18 years old and have a passion for mathematics. Although I love math now, it hasn’t always been this way, and that’s why you should choose me as your tutor. When i started high school I got the lowest grades in math and nearly failed the 9th grade. But as soon as I got to 10th grade I turned the tables around. I studied hard until I got 100% on every math test. I understand what it’s like to be the kid who has no clue what to do, and I understand how to help! I love to create a safe environment for kids where they don’t feel like they have to get it perfect the first try. I want to encourage kids to keep trying and trying until they understand and I am willing to sit and teach them until they do!
