About Christyn
Hi, I’m Christyn!
I’m a 2nd year Medical student at the University of Oxford. Having recently been through GCSEs, A-levels and university applications myself, I understand how overwhelming they can sometimes feel. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, and I really enjoy helping students reach the point where a difficult topic finally clicks. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working things through with me, while still being challenged to achieve the best they can.

My lessons focus on genuine understanding rather than simple memorisation. I work through topics interactively with the student, creating personalised notes together while using questioning and active recall throughout to check and consolidate their understanding. These notes are then sent to the student after each session, providing a tailored revision resource they can continue to use independently!
