About Meredith
I am a graduate of the University of Michigan where I majored in German and minored in Biology. I attended Long Island University Post where I am a 2nd year veterinary student. I want to be an exotic animal surgeon when I graduate. I have been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school (10+ years). German
I teach elementary school to high school math, elementary to college level biology, and elementary to college level German. I have a different way of teaching; I find which method of learning the student finds most helpful (whether that includes story problems, visuals, etc) and use that as a guiding point. I never want a student to feel inadequate. Just because a student is struggling in a certain subject, it doesn’t mean they are “bad” at that subject. We just need a different perspective and we’ll find it together.
