About Hanifa
Hi, I’m currently studying Psychology at the University of Leeds, alongside working for the NHS. Working in the NHS has taught me to be responsible, patient and understanding, as well as how important it is to communicate clearly with different people.
I also have experience working with children and young people, and I really enjoy helping others learn and develop their confidence. Studying A-level English Language, I’m keen to use my knowledge and experience to support students with their English.
I’m a friendly, approachable and patient person, and I understand that every student learns differently. I want my lessons to feel comfortable and encouraging, while helping students make real progress and feel proud of what they can achieve.

Hi! I’m a friendly and supportive English tutor with an A-level in English Language (Grade B), alongside my current Psychology degree at the University of Leeds.
I understand that English can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming, so my aim is to make lessons relaxed, engaging and tailored to each student. I can help with English Language, essay writing, grammar, comprehension, exam technique and building confidence.
I have experience working with children and young people, including tutoring, and I’m patient and happy to explain things in different ways until something clicks.
Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams, or simply want to improve your confidence and grades, I’ll work with you to identify what you need and build a plan around it.
