About Aliza
I am originally from London, England and am studying in Melbourne for my law degree. I love deep analysis of words hence why my passion lies in English Literature.
The experience of teaching someone about the creativity behind novels and poetry, as well as the domino effect in history is what motivates me to tutor and hopefully more young, aspiring students will grow to love these subjects as much as I do.

My lessons are for all students from primary school to year 10 and those who are struggling with overall understanding in English Literature and History.
I have a passion for reading and literature and love helping people develop their understanding of poetry and to analyse different meanings behind texts. I am very knowledgeable about European history - particularly WW1 and WW2, as well as the history of the United States.
A typical lesson would last 1 hour and 30 minutes to ensure students are able to fully understand certain topics within their chosen text. I find mind maps and key colour coded annotations the most useful when analysing overarching themes in both History and English Literature.
I can also provide helpful exam tips on how to succeed in exams and structure essays that make it simple to remember.
