About Sibongile
I am a primary school librarian.
Teaching foundation phase learners is part of my job description.
I have been doing it for four years now.
I also give learners extra reading lessons afterschool.
There is this learners who changed schools from Maputo to Johannesburg in the school I work in, she could not recognise sounds of the alphabets and that made her struggle a lot with reading. I taught her sounds and reading. Now she can read with confidence within 2 months there was a huge improvement.

I am very friendly and love working with young people, who are willing to learn.
I am a perfectionist and a hard worker. I love seeing an improvement in everything I do.
I usually start by testing my students with various words, phonic cards, reading strips, reading cards and books to see the learners level of reading , then take from there.
