About Jamie
Hello! My name is Jamie and I am currently studying my 3rd year on the Bachelor of Biotechnology at the University of Queensland.
A little bit about me. I would consider myself a fun and energetic person. When it comes to studying, I always have a can-do attitude and love to focus on the small details of topics.
In terms of my current study, I am enjoying my time at UQ as each class allows me to learn something new. I achieved a 6. GPA last semester and I’m trying my hardest to maintain or improve it this year.

My lessons will consist of mostly student-led discussions as I firmly believe that teaching is the best way to learning. I will have students explain the topics covered in class, create some mind maps, and revise through conducting mini quizzes throughout the time we spend together.
My study specialities are the following: Pomodoro method, Cornell note taking, Glossary creating and blurting method.
Where needed, I can confidently assist with topics that are a grey-area for the student if the subjects are in the areas of biology, chemistry or mathematics.
