About Danielle
I am a passionate 4th grade ELAR teacher with a love of learning. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a mental health crisis counselor, including working in schools and young children. I have a strong belief that learning is possible for all and it is about meeting a scholar where they are!

My goal as a tutor is provide support and instruction with a focus on gaining a deeper understanding of material versus just memorization. My method is to meet a scholar where they are emotionally, mentally, and intellectually. Everyone has a specific way they learn and helping a scholar gain understanding of how they best learn and then using those techniques to tutor ensures success!
My lesson plans involve spiraling material from past sessions through warm-ups. I use an "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach to ensure material is understood at all levels.
