About Daire
I have always loved maths-related subjects and have wanted to study maths since I was in my 4th year. I achieved a H1 in Leaving Cert maths and Chemistry. I always enjoyed helping my classmates study maths & explaining maths problems to them. I also have a keen interest in sport, I was a 2-sport athlete in 6th year. Here I learned how to manage my time efficiently allowing me to excel in the classroom and on the pitch.

First up, I sit down with the student to figure out which topics are giving them trouble. Then, I break those topics down, explaining them step by step until they've got a solid grip on them. We start with easy questions and work our way up to the tougher ones. I also share some useful test-taking strategies to help them pick up as many marks as they can in exams. These sessions are an hour long.

Daire tutored me in maths in my leaving cert year. He helped me understand what seemed like difficult concepts at the time, in a much more practical way.
Daire and I first met just after Christmas of last year. My older brother had recommended him. He helped me improve my maths grade from just about passing my Christmas exams to achieving a B in my junior cert. He helped explain topics I was struggling with in a much more relatable way than I experienced in school.
