About Will
I am a current 4th year undergraduate student studying a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences doubled with a science degree with a major in Physics. Having studied these topics at university for the past 3 years, I have found a genuine passion for them, and want to share that passion with others. I also have noticed tutoring other students that many people are discouraged by these areas in high school and lower years of university due to finding the content difficult to understand, and struggling with the problem solving aspect in exams and assignments. It is my goal being a tutor to make these subjects more accessible to students, so that they may succeed in high school or in further education if they choose to pursue them.

My lessons typically run for about an hour, but I am flexible to do more or less. The style of my teaching depends on the student's understanding of the given topic. I will usually spend the first 10-20 minutes of the lesson reviewing a topic, and then will focus on solving problems. If the student needs more help understanding a particular topic, I will spend more time going over easier examples and teaching understanding. For students more competent in a topic, I will move straight to more difficult problems focused on completing the understanding of the student.
I have experience as a private tutor, tutoring maths at HSC level in NSW (2U, 3U and 4U mathematics), as well as experience working for a company, where I tutored students from years 7-12. My lessons are mainly targeted at year 11-12 students, in the subjects of maths, physics or chemistry. While I have the most experience tutoring HSC, I am happy to tutor other state curriculums at this level as well. I am also happy to tutor any students doing 1st or 2nd year maths and physics courses.
