About Vasu
I'm currently a 5th year medical student at the University of Cambridge with a BA in Pharmacology (2022). Having achieved 3A*s and one A at A-Level, as well as competitive scores in the BMAT and UCAT, I was able to secure medical school offers from Cambridge, UCL, KCL and QMUL. I therefore feel well-equipped and keen to help others do the same!

AIMS AND TECHNIQUES
My lessons are aimed at aspiring medical applicants who seek to maximise their chances of getting into medical school! The application process can be daunting and so I aim to guide students through every step of the process with lessons tailored to their needs.
For admissions tests, I believe carefully reviewing questions as well as perfecting techniques for the different sections to scoring well. I would therefore be keen to ensure students understand the reasoning behind questions and supplement the learning with plenty of practice.
For interview preparation, doing mock interviews can be a fantastic way to give students the edge by familiarising them with the style of questions they are likely to encounter. I would also be keen to have open discussions to explore various areas of medicine (such as medical ethics) to encourage further thought and understanding.
For personal statements, I would be keen to discuss the motivations and experiences that students have, using them to help applicants put together a sophisticated and engaging personal statement.

- Unless agreed otherwise, I would aim for each lesson to last approx. 1 hour.
