About Lois
I've always liked STEM and always hated it when I felt like I couldn't understand something. It was a relief to discover it wasn't my fault that things didn't make sense, it's just people in STEM can be notoriously bad at explaining things. So I found new ways to understand difficult topics, which got me 9's in GCSE, A*'s at A-level, into university to study engineering, and learning complex topics like programming and machine learning.

Lessons typically last an hour beginning with a review of the previous lesson. The tutee presents any work they're struggling with or topics they've been having a difficult time with. We'll work on how better to explain such topics so they make sense to the individual tutee and so they stick and consolidate this understanding with questions. My lessons are aimed at students undertaking GCSE and A-level qualifications.
