About Rose
My name is Rose, a fifth year medical student at Cambridge. I am passionate about the sciences, having taken biology, chemistry and physics at A level and thoroughly enjoying my studies at university.
I would love to share my skills in this area by tutoring, something I believe I am well equipped for, due not only to my academic experience but also to relating to people in this context.
I have a lot of familiarity with special education needs, including ADHD, dyslexia and autism, both from research and personal experience. This has made me particularly adaptable in a tutoring context. I have had experience teaching, having volunteered in a hospital in Malawi where I taught the patients English, overcoming language barriers. I have also tutored in Oxbridge interview prep.
My sister is a professional tutor and helped me prepare for my GCSEs and A levels, so I understand the value and impact that focused, tailored one on one help can have.

Having achieved all A*s at GCSE level and A level, and subsequently securing a place to study medicine at Cambridge, I posses the skills necessary to tutor the sciences from an academic perspective. I am comfortable with the material, have a good knowledge of the curriculum, and having sat my own exams fairly recently, I know what to expect from them and how to effectively prepare. As a student doctor, I possess good communication skills, and am able to make the material engaging. As previously mentioned, I have experience with a wide range of pupils, and the lessons can be very flexible and tailored to individual needs.
